Local Referendum (7 May 2026) - a majority yes vote

A local referendum was held on 7 May 2026 to decide if the Tattingstone NDP should become part of the development plan. The question asked of those entitled to vote was: 'Do you want Babergh District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Tattingstone to help it decide planning applications in the Neighbourhood Plan Area?'

The yes vote means that Babergh District Council are now obliged to 'make' (adopt) this Plan. They will publish a notice to that effect as soon as possible.
